JA Release Notes: March 2024

We are excited to announce the latest update to the JA system, including new features and enhancements. Below, you will find a summary of the updates that have been released:

Features:

• 2024/25 Payroll Updates - Payroll has now been updated to make the latest changes available for the upcoming tax year, and they are now live and operational as we approach 6th April. If you would like to preview the calculations beforehand, you can run payroll and test the new tax year calculations in your training company before processing your first payroll for the 2025 tax year.

System Enhancements:

• Validation: We have added additional validation to the system payment codes. this validation is set so only alphanumeric characters can be added to the code - special characters can still be included within the payment code descriptions.
• Pension Refunds: You are now able to process a pension refund when using the umbrella calculation without a timesheet.
• Illustration Settings: We have updated the illustration settings page so that information is displayed more clearly.
• Reporting: We have added additional information into the CIS Employee View. This allows CIS reports to be created to show the contractors last paid dates.
• Papdis: We have made enhancements to the pension Papdis report to optimise how this report is created when exporting.
• User Interface (UI) Enhancements: Various user interface enhancements have been implemented throughout the application to enhance usability, visual appeal, and overall user experience.
