JA Release Notes: December 2023

Following the announcements in the Autumn Statement regarding National Insurance, the updates have now been released to your JA system.

Latest updates to JA

Features:

Employee National Insurance: Any payrolls which you process using a pay date on or after 06/01/2024 will automatically use the new rate of 10% for the employee's national insurance. Any payrolls dated before 06/01/2024 will continue to use the 12% rate.
Director's National Insurance: When processing payroll for directors, who are set to use the director's national insurance calculation, the system will automatically use the 10% rate for any payrolls dated on or after 06/01/2024. Where a director has been set to ignore directors' national insurance, the standard employee calculation rules will be used.

Enhancements:

SafeRec: We have updated our SafeRec integration to now include the name of the agency for any timesheets which have been used within the employee's payroll.

We are very proud to announce that we have now achieved our certification for ISO 27001.

This is an achievement that underscores our commitment to information security and the highest standards of data management.
