System Enhancements:
Payroll & Tax Updates
Statutory Neonatal Care Pay (SNCP): A new absence type has been added to support Statutory Neonatal Care Pay (SNCP). This ensures compliance with new legislation and allows for accurate tracking of neonatal leave.
Employee Expenses: Following client feedback, we have changed the default expense type to Other when creating a new employee expense.
HMRC Message Display: Enhanced HMRC Message screens to better highlight which existing details are being updated, offering clearer visibility for users.
Payroll Batch Cancellation: You can now cancel payroll batches that are awaiting an HMRC response, allowing better control and error recovery in payroll processing.
Pension & Payment Enhancements
Private Pension Nominals: You can now configure default nominal codes for private pension payment codes via Home → Setup, simplifying the allocation process and ensuring consistency.
Zempler Payment File Update: The Zempler payment file format has been updated to meet their latest specification.
Payroll Processing Enhancements
Timesheet Import Performance: Improved the performance of timesheet batch imports to reduce slowness and improve processing speed.
Payroll Group Advancing: Batch advancing payroll groups has been optimised for faster page load times, improving the experience when running payroll in bulk.
Employee & Data Management
Name Support Enhancements: The system now supports apostrophes and hyphens in employee names, providing greater flexibility for data entry.
Pending Employee Actions: Performance enhancements have been made to reduce slowness when deleting, converting, or linking pending employees.
Intermediary Reporting Fix: Resolved an issue where some pending employees were not appearing on intermediary reports after being converted to full employees.
