JustAccounts Release Notes March 2022
There has been an update to the JustAccounts software, below are the updated features and enhancements which have now been released:
Latest updates to JustAccounts
Features:
- We have released the new Payroll 2023 changes for the upcoming Tax Year. This is now live and ready for you to run as we approach 6th April. If you wish to see what the calculations are going to be, you are able to run payroll and test the new Tax Year calculations within your training company prior to running your first 2023 Tax Year payroll.
- Updated how Payslip and Pay Statement file names are displayed to better reflect what period they belong to.
- Additional validation added when changing the NI table to prevent it being changed when payment has already been made in that period.
- Extended and added an option into the UI for the 'Do Not CC Accountant' functionality. This features allows you to block accountant users from being CC'd in certain emails that go out of your system.
- We now record the username of the person who has posted an invoice against the transactions. This mean the username of the inidividual can be seen from the transaction screen when viewing an invoice posting.
- Updated our BACS formats to now include both Regent and Caxton.
- In the payroll batches report we now support Santander Business Payment File.
- Improved the Cashplus resubmission warning to ensure clients are aware these payments have already been submitted.
- Moved Import button to the top of the Payroll Group Members page so when importing new employees via this screen, you do not need to scroll to the bottom of the page.
System Enhancements:
- Enhancement made so Column headers on timesheets now correctly reflect default values. This means the column displays as Hours if default rate is hourly or Daily when the default rate is a day rate.
- Enhancement made to handle numbers larger than 6 figures via the Plaid Import integration.
- Modified the Umbrella calculation to allow creation of smaller commission figures. This will now allow very small commission to be rendered and still satisfy the umbrella calculation requirements.
- Improvements made to how Leavers/Non-Leavers are collected by reporting functions.
- Rule set that will prevent the margin field ability to accept non numeric characters.
- There is now a forced waiting when deleting a batch. This will prevent multiple batch deletions from multiple deletion attempts in a short attempt.
- Made changes so a fully credited invoice can no longer set timesheets to be payable.
- Made changes so when filtering employees and creating a new timesheet, the filters will no longer reset.
If you have any questions regarding any of the above, please contact your account manager or our support team for further details.
