As we are coming to the end of the tax year, we wanted to send over our Payroll Year End guide, which you can find at the bottom of this email, to help you with running through this process. This guide runs through all of the steps so that you can submit your final submissions for the tax year and generate the respective P60s.
As well as the Payroll Year End, it is important to remember the changes required in accordance with pensions.
Firstly, please enter the pension information for the new payroll year. To do this you will need to do the following from the company details page:
- Click on the Pension Schemes Tab
- Click Edit next to the Pension Scheme setup (if this is going to be your first scheme click New Scheme)
- Click Add item and select the year 2022
- Enter the appropriate contribution rates and click Save
Secondly, for anyone who currently use Smart Pensions, for this years week 53, you will need to ensure you export the data for that week and import it into Smart Pensions via the PAPDIS file export. This will need to be ran for 5th April which will cover week 53.
