- Hover over ‘Employees’ on the menu bar and click ‘Payroll groups’.
- Create a new payroll group by clicking the ‘Create new’ button.
- Add a description (name it something memorable), and set the pay frequency and the pay date to the next available pay date.
- Click 'Create'.
- Click ‘Employees’ in the menu bar.
- Select the reference of the employee you want to rollback.
- Click ‘Edit’
- Click the ‘Admin details’ tab.
- Select the new payroll group from the drop-down.
- Click ‘Save’.
- Navigate to the P11 tab within the employee's details. Click ‘Rollback’ alongside the payroll breakdown.
- Enter the reasoning for the rollback.
- Enter the password used to log into the system.
- Check the payroll group settings are correct.
- Create a new timesheet or edit the existing one.
- Create a batch with this timesheet and check the correct amount has been calculated.
- Click 'Postings'.
- Click 'Finalise'
- Move the employee back into the original payroll group once you have finished.
- Archive the payroll group used for the rollback.
